Mark 4:21-25 “An Impossible Task?”
As we go into the world, seeking opportunities for kingdom growth, we do so with the full expectation that God is going to do what he says he will do. He will reveal the mystery of the gospel to many people until the day he returns.
Mark 4:1-20 “The Word and the Kingdom”
What is the role of God’s Word in God’s Kingdom?
Mark 3:20-35 “God’s Definitions”
Since God alone defines his mission and motivations, we submit to those definitions.
We may not redefine anything about God.
Mark 3:7-19 “Highs and Lows”
One of the greatest mysteries about God and his purposes is that he includes people in his mission. We have sinned, and therefore should have no standing before a pure and holy God. In his goodness and wisdom, though, he invites us into his presence for real and lasting relationship.
Mark 2:23-3:6 “Losing Sight”
The sabbath is meant to reflect the heart of God for people, which is one of care.
Mark 2:18-22 “Celebrate!”

Mark 2:13-17 “Room at the Table”
This text forces us to come to terms with questions like, “What makes someone healthy or sick? What makes someone a sinner or righteous? Who is welcome to the table with Jesus?
Mark 2:1-12 “The Authority of The Son of Man “
The Son of Man came to deal with sin, but also to deal with all his enemies, to triumph over those who stood against him. And it starts with us trusting in his authority in every area of our life.
Mark 1:40-45 “What He Has Called ‘Clean’”
Throughout the Gospel according to Mark, Jesus heals many people of many afflictions and diseases. What is the motivation behind this healing?
Mark 1:29-39 “Jesus’ Ministry”
Here, in this text, we are privileged to see Jesus work out various aspects of his earthly ministry. As we read, we could ask, “What was important to Jesus in ministry? How did he do it? How did he think about people? How should we follow after him in the same way?”
Mark 1:21-28 “Authority: Part One”
Word spreads. And we want it to spread, and we help it to spread. Our hope is that every mind and heart would be faced with the authoritative Christ and every person would be forced to look up from the distractions of their own sin and pointless pursuits and come to terms with Jesus.
Mark 1:16-20 “Kingdom Recruits”
What does it look to follow Jesus? At the beginning of his ministry, Jesus called four lowly fishermen to follow him and be his disciples. He called them to leave their lives, jobs, and family behind and follow him and as they follow him he calls them to fish for men by casting the net of the gospel. For us, following Jesus looks like living for him where he has called us. We are called to take part in the building of his kingdom and that begins with how we live for him where he has called us, whether as a husband, wife, father, mother, son, daughter, employee, or employer. Wherever he has called us, we must live to bring him glory and fish for men by proclaiming the gospel.
Mark 1:14-15 “Mission Statement”
We see the foundation of his ministry of the kingdom and we see him invite sinful men into it. This is humbling. And it gives us clarity on our message.
Mark 1:1-13 “The Qualified Son”
Is Jesus really the solution? Who is he? Do we doubt him? What makes him so special?
Mark 1:14-28 “We are Disciples of Jesus”
In our pursuit of Jesus we necessarily will call each other in this room, as well as those outside, to join us in pursuing the Savior. This is the great joy of the Christian Disciple!
