Passage: Ecclesiastes 11:1-6
Because of our sin, life “under the sun” is full of uncertainties. Fear of the unknown can paralyze us. But Solomon calls his listeners to wise and faith-filled action based on what they do know while trusting in a sovereign and good God.
As Christians, we can work diligently at whatever God gives us to do and know with certainty, because of the finished work of Christ, our work in the Lord will prosper. We, most of all, are those who do not labor in vain if we labor in Christ.
