Can we redeem our time?

1. Time is not in our hands
2. What God does is eternal
3. Our temporality only has meaning in His eternality

Each of us recognizes the ebb and flow of life. Sometimes life is one way for a season, but inevitably, the pendulum of time will swing, and we will find ourselves on the other side of the spectrum. Chapter 3 of Ecclesiastes considers the hevel of our existence from the vantage point of time. 

“The Lord has put eternity into the heart of man. We were made to long for Him because we are made for Him. How foolish we are to seek finite things to fill our infinite longing! May the Lord sour our taste for lesser things, that we might enjoy the sweetness of Him in the midst of Hevel.“
