Passage: Ecclesiastes 1:1-11

As we go through Ecclesiastes, we are going to consider what it means to find joy in a fallen world.  Solomon reveals to us that life is meaningless apart from God. If we try to find meaning in anything else, we will be stuck in a monotonous cycle of vanity until we return to the dust from which we came. But in Christ, we come to know the meaning and purpose of all things.  All things are created by Him and for Him and when we seek to find meaning in anything apart from him, we will be left wanting.
