Passage: Philippians 2:9–2:11

9 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, 10 so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Intro:
We worship the exalted Jesus who alone is worthy of worship.

Outro:
Don’t think of Him in human terms and limitations. He competes with no one. There is no one on His level. “That’s selfish of God.” With whom would or COULD he share glory?! Building Legos. If your brain is struggling to conceive why a perfect God would concern Himself with imperfect people and redeem them for the purpose of bringing praise and glory to His great name, you are in good company. But because God is perfect and died on our behalf, we, imperfect people, can share in eternity with Him.
