Passage: Philippians 2:8

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

Intro:
We must regard the death of Jesus as the greatest display of humility and obedience.

Outro:
If humility doesn’t make sense to you, know that It doesn’t make sense to me that God would do so much to redeem rebellious, sinful people. It doesn’t make sense but O I am so glad He did. I am so glad He stooped to our level. Took on our likeness. Lived in a fallen world. Served people all along the way. Went to the cross. Took my sins. Fulfilled the law. Fulfilled the prophets. Made a way for us to be with Him forever. And I am so glad He’s coming again.
