How do we flee from idolatry? Paul helps us by looking to the Lord’s Supper. The Supper is the meal that Christ has given to his church in order for his people to receive spiritual nourishment in this life until he comes again.

The Corinthian Christians were in danger, and they didn’t know it! They were committing sins that had plagued ancient Israel while in the wilderness. The Israelites were guilty of idolatry, adultery, testing God and grumbling against God’s will. The Corinthians were falling into the same sins.
